Terms of Service

These terms set out the rights, obligations and responsibilities between PetCare AI ("we", "us") and members who use our pet health management and AI consultation service (the "Service").

1. "Service" means all web and mobile services we provide.
2. "Member" means a person who has agreed to these terms and created an account.
3. "AI consultation" means the feature that gives general information about a pet's symptoms using AI analysis.
4. "Credit" means a prepaid unit a member purchases; one AI consultation uses one credit.
5. "Paid services" means services we provide for a fee, such as credit packs.

We post these terms where members can easily find them. We may change them within the limits of applicable law. We will announce changes, with the effective date and reason, at least 7 days in advance, or at least 30 days in advance if the change is unfavourable to members.

The agreement between you and us is formed when you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy, submit the sign-up form, and we accept your registration.

1. Follow these terms, applicable law and notices we give you.
2. Do not transfer or lend your account to anyone else.
3. Do not sign up using another person's information.
4. Do not disrupt the Service or access it by automated means (such as scraping).
5. Do not treat AI consultation results as a clinical diagnosis or give them to others for diagnosis or treatment.

The AI consultation is not a veterinary examination. It provides general health information only, and we do not guarantee that AI answers are accurate, complete or up to date. We are not responsible for:

• harm to your pet, including worsening illness or death, resulting from relying only on AI answers
• the results of home treatment based on information from the AI
• losses caused by not taking your pet to a veterinary clinic promptly in an emergency

If your pet seems unwell, please see a veterinarian. In an emergency (difficulty breathing, seizures, bleeding, collapse, poisoning, an accident), do not use this Service — contact a 24-hour emergency veterinary clinic right away.

AI consultations are provided as a paid service using prepaid credits. Prices and payment methods are shown in the Service. International payments are processed by PayPal. Credits do not expire.

You may request cancellation and a refund as provided by applicable law, including Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Cancellation may be limited where digital content has already been used, in whole or in part, as the law allows. Send refund requests to support@petcare-ai.com.

All materials in the Service (text, images, design, logos) belong to us or their rightful owners. You keep the copyright in content you post, and you allow us to use it within the scope of operating and promoting the Service.

We may suspend the Service temporarily for maintenance, network failures, natural disasters or similar unavoidable reasons. We are not liable for resulting losses unless caused by our intent or gross negligence.

You can delete your account at any time from the settings screen, and we will process it promptly as required by law.

If either party breaches these terms and causes damage to the other, that party is liable for the damage. For free features, we are not liable unless the damage is caused by our intent or gross negligence.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The court with jurisdiction over our principal place of business is the court of first instance for any dispute, except where the law of your country of residence gives you a mandatory right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
