1. Creating and managing your account (identification, sign-in, keeping your membership)
2. Providing AI pet health consultations and keeping your consultation history

• Required: email address, password (stored encrypted), nickname, sign-in IP address, access time, cookies
• Optional: profile photo, pet details (name, species, breed, age, weight), location (only when you search for clinics)
• Consultation data: the symptoms you type, photos/PDFs you upload (such as lab results), and the AI's answers
• Payment data: international payments are handled by PayPal. We never receive or store your card number or other payment credentials. For bank transfers in Korea we keep the depositor name, amount and confirmation record
• Collected automatically: device type, browser, operating system, usage logs

• Account information: until you delete your account
• AI consultation history: deleted when you delete your account (kept 1 year only if you ask us to)
• Contract and order-cancellation records: 5 years (Korean e-commerce law)
• Payment and delivery records: 5 years
• Complaint and dispute records: 3 years
• Sign-in logs: 3 months (Korean Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with third parties only with your consent or where the law specifically requires or permits it (Articles 17 and 18 of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act).

We use the following providers to run the service. The website itself is served from our own servers in the Republic of Korea.

Some of your information is transferred outside Korea so that we can provide AI consultations and store your account.

• Recipients: Anthropic PBC (USA), Google LLC (USA)
• Purpose: analysing symptoms and generating answers with the Claude AI model; sign-in and data storage
• Data: symptom text, uploaded images/PDFs, your pet's species/breed/age, account information
• When and how: at the time you use the service, over HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher)
• Retention: Anthropic keeps API data only briefly under its API policy and does not use it for training; Firebase keeps data until you delete your account
• Safeguards: Anthropic and Google operate security programs certified to international standards such as SOC 2 Type II

You may refuse these transfers, but the AI consultation feature cannot work without them.

You can ask us at any time to do any of the following. Email support@petcare-ai.com and we will respond without delay.

1. Show you the personal information we hold
2. Correct inaccurate information
3. Delete your information
4. Stop processing your information

When information is no longer needed, or its retention period ends, we delete it without delay. Electronic files are deleted so they cannot be recovered; printed records are shredded or incinerated.

• Administrative: an internal data-protection plan
• Technical: one-way password hashing, access control, HTTPS (TLS), security logging
• Physical: access control at our server facility and at Google's data centers

We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your settings. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features may then stop working.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Korea Internet & Security Agency's Personal Information Infringement Report Center (privacy.kisa.or.kr) or the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (kopico.go.kr). You may also contact the data protection authority in your own country.
